When SNOO’s highest level of sound and motion fails to aid fussing, it usually means that the baby needs YOUR help, like a feeding, nappy change or a cuddle. That is why we designed SNOO to stop – or 'time out' – if fussing is not calmed after a couple of minutes. When SNOO times out, the sound and motion will stop, and you will receive an App notification.
Note: Don’t wait for SNOO to 'timeout'. When SNOO calms fussing, it usually happens within 60 seconds. So, if a minute of faster rocking has not worked, it usually means your baby is hungry or uncomfortable.
Breastmilk is the best source of nutrition for babies. It is important that, in preparation for and during breastfeeding, mothers eat a healthy, balanced diet. Combined breast- and bottle-feeding in the first weeks of life may reduce the supply of a mother's breastmilk and reversing the decision not to breastfeed is difficult. If you do decide to use infant formula, you should follow instructions carefully.
